Nestled in the heart of the picturesque village of Withyham, St Michael’s is a small, vibrant, non-faith primary school where every child is known, valued, and inspired to thrive.
We are incredibly lucky to have an exceptional outdoor space that plays a central role in school life. Our strength lies in our size. Our dedicated staff, supportive parents, and strong Governing Body work together to ensure each child receives personalised attention, high-quality teaching, and a broad, engaging curriculum that reflects the beauty and richness of our countryside surroundings.
From our well-loved school garden to the herbs we grow at the entrance for use in cookery lessons, our environment enriches learning in meaningful, hands-on ways. Each Friday during the growing season, our pupils proudly sell fresh produce to the local community, an experience that nurtures responsibility, enterprise, and a sense of connection.
