Admission Information
St Michael’s Primary School is a community school, this means we are not a Church of England voluntary aided or controlled school. As a community school the Governing Board follow the East Sussex Admission procedures for the intake of new Reception children to the school each September. Guidance on starting school. The timetable for any appeals for a school place may be found at this guidance.
Please telephone Ms D Udell if you require any further information on 01892 770307.
The school manages 'in year' admissions (these are admisions that take place after September once the school year has started) and the school should be contacted directly for further information and application forms. For 'in year' admissions, while you can apply online, it will always be best if you approach us directly.
The admission process for Reception-age children is completed through an online application. The link above explains the process in detail.
The school offers full-time provision for four year olds that are in our Reception Class. We are always happy to discuss the needs of families who are unsure if their children are ready to attend school full-time in our Reception Class.
