We always welcome visits to school. It is one of my favourite things showing families round and explaining the school's vision and values including how much we value nature and the environment. We look forward to meeting you. Our Class Ambassadors who are pupils in every class will be only too pleased to welcome you to classes and explain the learning taking place.

St Michael's is a community school that prides itself on high quality teaching and an ongoing focus on well being for all. We have fantastic outside space that we use throughourt the year A key aspect of the school's vision is being outside in the fresh air playing and learning throughout the year. We are looking forward to meeting you all! Information about the application process for schools may be found at this link.

To record lots of your children's learning in Reception we use Tapestry. Lots of you will be familiar with this from your child's preschool setting but for anyone who is new to Tapestry, or if you need a refresher, we have created a simple guide to Tapestry. If your child has Tapestry at their current setting, this will be transferred over to St Michael's so that your child's learning journey builds on top of their previous observations, making a lovely document of all of their learning since preschool by the end of Reception.
